Duties and responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the service department, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to specifications.
- Supervise and train team members on best practices in construction techniques, including heavy lifting, metal stud framing, masonry, and roofing.
- Interpret and utilize schematics to guide project execution and restoration tasks.
Oversee the use of hand tools and welding equipment to ensure safety and compliance with industry standards.
- Coordinate with clients to assess needs, provide updates, and resolve any issues that arise during projects.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to safety protocols.
- Build strong relationships with clients by delivering exceptional service and maintaining open lines of communication
Requirements and Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the roofing industry.
- Strong knowledge of roofing methods, including, metal work, commercial and flat roofing and safety.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively.
- Proficient in using hand tools and machinery relevant to construction tasks.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and work on construction sites as needed.
